Hussung Mechanical assisted Messer Construction, the Owner and the Engineer throughout the design process by providing a schematic design budget, a design development budget, and a construction document budget. Hussung Mechanical then offered over $939,000.00 in value engineering options of which approximately $450,000.00 was accepted by the owner. As part of the $167 million project, 172,000 new s.f. were added to the hospital. This new bed tower expansion added 70 new private patient rooms, a new emergency department equipped with 39 treatment area and six additional operating rooms, two of which are new bi-plane rooms.
